LATEST NEWS:  Training is going well! Colord Tornado earned his first point in heeling.  Look to see him in the upcoming shows Aug. 15 in Castle Rock and Aug. 30 at the State Fair in Pueblo.

       Mr. T came to our farm in May 2008.  Having an outstanding pedigree and being homozygous for tobiano will make him a great asset in achieving our goal of producing outstanding performance paints at Magpie Farms.  He is currently not being bred to any outside mares.  Check back in May 2009 for his first foal crop being offered at Magpie Farms. The foals are here!!

  Colord Tornado's Sire is Color Me Smart.  A 2 million dollar Sire who boasts sire's such as Smart Little Lena, Hall of Famer...Doc O'Lena, and AQHA Champion Doc's Solano.  All who have produced World Champion, money earning offspring.  Colord Tornado's World Champion pedigree continues on his dam's side with Hall of Famer, Doc O'lena and Mr San Peppy.  Doc Doll is listed in the Paint Horse Legends with cutting earnings of over $37,000 and World Champion, money earning offspring.  This colt has got it all!!!

 LATEST NEWS:  After switching trainers in the spring...Jocko is finally starting to come around, winning heading, heeling and steer stopping classes July 10 in Loveland!!! 

2009 Stock Show Junior Circuit Champion in Heeling and Steer Stopping!!  "Jocko" took 4th place overall heading, 4th overall in heeling, and 2nd overall in steer stopping.  2009 is looking very promising for this young stallion.

 Reserve Champion in Junior Steer Stopping and Junior Heeling at the World Paint Horse Congress in Witchita, KS!!!  Earning 12 Steer Stopping Points and 4 Heeling Points!!

   "Jocko" is currently in training for heading, heeling and steer stopping with TJ Watts.  He achieved the Junior Circuit Award for steer stopping at the SCPHC's Colorado Gold Show 2008.  With only 2 shows behind him, he was able to place in the top 15 at the 2008 APHA World Show in Fort Worth.  This Colt is headed for GREATNESS!!  Why wouldn't he be with his sire being A Tru Rolex, the leading point sire in APHA history!!

     Homozygous for tobiano and homozygous for black, he will produce some fabulous offspring.
